Introduction
CommonLogix LLC ("CommonLogix," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our websites and mobile applications.
Plain-English Summary
We build privacy-first software. Many CommonLogix apps are designed to work offline and keep your content on your device. We do not run advertising trackers inside our apps, and we do not use third-party analytics for behavioral profiling.
FaithHabit: Catholic Companion — App-Specific Privacy Notes
FaithHabit is an offline-first app. FaithHabit does not require account creation and does not collect personal data for advertising,
tracking, or profiling. FaithHabit does not use third-party analytics SDKs. FaithHabit does not sell user data. Data you create in
FaithHabit (such as prayer logs, notes, journal entries, settings, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. CommonLogix does
not receive this content unless you explicitly email us and include it in your message. If you contact us for support, we receive your
email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.
Offline-First Apps (On-Device Data)
Many CommonLogix apps store your content locally on your device (for example, notes, journal entries, preferences, and settings). That on-device content stays in the app’s private storage on your device. We do not receive your on-device content unless you explicitly choose to contact us and include it in your message.
Information We Collect
We collect only what is needed to operate our services and provide support.
- Information you provide to us: If you email us for support, we receive the information you include (such as your email address and the contents of your message).
- Website server logs: Our website hosting provider may automatically process basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to operate, secure, and protect the website from abuse.
Diagnostics & Crash Reporting
CommonLogix apps do not include advertising trackers or SDKs for behavioral analytics. Some platform-level diagnostics may exist at the operating system level (for example, Apple’s device crash logs). If you choose to share diagnostic information with your platform provider, it may be used to help improve app stability. These reports are intended to contain technical details about errors and performance—not the private content you create inside the app.
What We Do Not Collect
Unless a specific app feature clearly requires it (and you choose to use that feature), we do not collect:
- Precise location data
- Contact lists or address book data
- Photos, camera data, or microphone recordings
- Private app content stored locally on your device (such as personal notes or journals)
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
- Sensitive personal data such as health data
How We Use Information
We use information for the following limited purposes:
- To respond to support requests and customer service inquiries
- To maintain and improve app reliability, performance, and security
- To comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and misuse
Third-Party Services
Some apps may rely on third-party services for distribution, payments, and platform functionality:
- App Store / Payments: FaithHabit uses Apple’s App Store for payments and subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription or in-app purchase, the transaction is handled by the platform provider (Apple). We do not receive your full payment details.
- Hosting: Our website may be hosted by a third-party provider that processes standard access logs to operate and secure the website.
Third-party providers have their own privacy policies and practices. We encourage you to review them.
Data Retention
We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Support emails and related records may be retained to help resolve issues and improve support quality. Website server logs are retained by our hosting provider for limited periods consistent with operational and security needs. On-device app content remains on your device unless you choose to share it with us.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your information, including the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you.
- On-device data: You can delete app content stored on your device by using in-app delete options (if available), using an in-app “reset” feature (if provided), or uninstalling the app.
- Support communications: You may request deletion of support emails you have sent us by contacting us.
To make a request, contact us at info@commonlogix.com.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because many CommonLogix apps are offline-first and do not require accounts, any content created in the app is typically stored only on the device. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us via email or other direct contact, reach out and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
